If you already own a DSLR, then you do not need to purchase a camera. We use only DSLR or Mirror-less cameras in this course. Unfortunately, an iPhone or Android device is not sufficient for this course, you will need a DSLR/Mirrorless camera that you can control Aperture, Shutter Speed, and ISO.

There are 3 required items for this course. There are other items you may need in the future or out of preference, just make sure you stay within your own personal budget:

You absolutely do not need to buy a new Camera…..There are other options. You may purchase USED camera equipment and save money. The only aspect you need to be aware of is a RETURN POLICY. Amazon offers “Refurbished” equipment that comes with a return window, but Amazon is not the only place to purchase used equipment. Houston Camera Exchange offers used equipment that have been approved for resale at their physical location here in Houston—you will have to go there to see their inventory as it changes daily.
